Yosemite
Mom, Sharon and the kids drove out here from Texas to spend the month of July hanging out with the family. As part of the festivities, we took a 3-day trip to Yosemite with the entire Reed Clan. We camped out, took in some of the sights, did a little hiking and very much enjoyed just spending time together.

20 Weeks
Back in mid-July we went in for our 20-week ultrasound. All is going well and we got some pretty good 3-D shots of the baby. (My apologies to everyone out there that thinks that 3-D ultrasound pics are creepy). According to the doctors all is going well with her and we'll be back for another ultrasound in Mid-September.
Summer
It's been a pretty busy summer and I'm just now getting some time to catch up on the blog.. so here goes..

15 Months
It's amazing how fast time flies! Zach turned 15 months at the end of May. In celebration, I finally took him to get his pictures taken. I know 15 months is rather random, but we were just to darn busy around his birthday.
Here are the results:

Number Two

So after two years of infertility treatments to be able to have Zach, we were a little surprised when we found out in March that we were expecting again. This time, no drugs, no shots and no stress! Woo hoo! :-)
We feel so blessed and grateful for this little miracle in our lives.
We had our 1st Trimester screening last week and were told that everything is looking great and.. it's a girl!

Farewell to Trev
We just got back from a very quick and very busy trip to Phoenix. It was Easter weekend, which was fun, but our true reason for going was to attend my nephew, Trevor's, Missionary Farewell. He's headed off to the Argentina Cordova mission and reports next Wednesday. We are so proud of him and know that he's going to be an amazing missionary! :-)

Shop Progress
The shop has also been materializing out there before our very eyes. Prior to the San Antonio trip, we got the footings dug, the foundation prepared:

and the concrete poured and finished.

Since coming back, we've had framers working for a couple of weeks,

and as of last Saturday, the entire Phase 1 (80' x 40') is framed in and sheeted.

Next steps? Approval of the permit for Phase 2 (20' x 40'), framing in that phase and then stucco-ing and roofing the whole thing.
It's crazy to look back there and see that huge building where nothing was a few short months ago..
